Program Description

The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Information Systems at the University of Sierra Leone is an undergraduate program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to design, implement, and manage information systems that support business processes and decision-making. The program combines computing, business, and data analytics to prepare graduates for roles at the intersection of technology and organizational management.

Graduates are prepared for employment in corporations, government agencies, financial institutions, IT consulting firms, NGOs, and further postgraduate studies in Information Systems, IT, or Management Information Systems (MIS).

Candidates must possess five (5) GCE 'O' Level/WASSCE Credits with a C6 or better in English Language and C5 or better in Mathematics, plus any three subjects. Applicants are subjected to an exam conducted by the faculty as part of the admission process.
